Walk to School Week Poster 2016

Monday 16th – Friday 20th May 2016 is Walk to School Week and we will be challenging all children to walk, cycle or scooter to school throughout the week. We understand that this can be difficult for some families, however during this week we would ask that families even try to ‘park and stride’ if they are unable to walk the full way to school. Classes will be able to keep track of how often they actively travel to school throughout the week and we will share and celebrate the results at our weekly assembly.

In addition, as part of Walk to School Week,  we will be having a ‘Happy Feet-day’ on Friday 20th May. On this day, we will invite the children to come to school wearing their ‘happiest’ pair of shoes for a £1 donation. More information will be provided to pupils at this week’s assembly.
