We had a very successful (and cold!) first week back at Udston and it was lovely hearing the children’s news from the holidays as well as hearing their resolutions for the year ahead! We have a busy week ahead with Registration Week and are looking forward to welcoming new, and familiar, families to register their child to start school in August. Our normal Library timetable will start again this week and children will be able to choose a book to take home and enjoy with their families. If your child has lost or damaged their Library Bag and would like a new one, this can be purchased in school for 50p.

Next Week: Scots Language Week 23rd – 27th January is Scots Language Week and we will be sending home information about a Scots Poetry/Song Competition which all children will have the opportunity to participate in – either individually or as part of a group if they would prefer. One winner from each class will then be invited to perform at our Scots Assembly on 27th January.

Boys’ Football Club Mr Cooper will resume Boys’ Football Club on Thursday 2nd February after school.
