Book Week Scotland – Book Swap

Book Week 17

Our Junior Librarians have been busy preparing for our Book Week Scotland Book Swap tomorrow morning. We are delighted to have had such a fantastic response to our Book Swap and the children seem excited about choosing some new titles to take home. Not only is it a fantastic opportunity to read for enjoyment, it is also eco friendly!

There is still time for anyone wishing to participate to bring in any old and unwanted books first thing tomorrow morning as the Book Swap will take place at playtime.

Welcome back! We hope all families enjoyed a restful Easter Break and are looking forward to another busy and productive term ahead. It is lovely to see the children back and they are looking very smart in their uniforms.

ArdentinnyOur Primary 7 pupils had a very successful week in Ardentinny just before Easter. The children participated enthusiastically in a variety of fun and challenging activities which included gorge walking, climbing, abseiling and canoeing. As always, the children represented Udston extremely well and did themselves and their families proud.

Well done to everyone involved!

We are delighted to inform families that, over the Easter Break, we were successful in renewing our Eco Schools Green Flag status and are looking forward to receiving and proudly displaying our third flag.
