Harvest Collection

Last year we received a fantastic response to our Harvest Festival Appeal with lots of families sending in items which were donated to Hamilton District Foodbank. We would like to continue to support Hamilton District Foodbank and are inviting families to kindly make donations to this year’s appeal. Please click on the link below to read our poster and find out which items the Foodbank are looking for. Many thanks for your support.

Christmas Show Information for Families

Children in Primaries 3-7 will receive a letter today with the following information regarding our Christmas Sing-A-Long:

Christmas Show Arrangements

Wednesday 7th & Thursday 8th December

Could all pupils please be dropped off at the school for this week’s show performances no earlier than 6.30pm. In the past, children have had difficulty in accessing the front door, therefore we will have signs for members of the audience to wait in line. By having this system, the children should be able to walk in easily – likewise, staff members too.

To keep things simple, we have asked that children wear something “Christmassy” (hat, tinsel, etc). Also, you may wish to give your child a snack & juice (not fizzy) to have in class. No telephones please or iPads to be given to the children.

The show will begin at 7.00pm and doors will be open from 6.45pm. The show is expected to finish at 8.30pm. If you are not attending the show, please collect your child from the front door. Those who are at the performances can collect pupils from their classrooms at the end of the show. No child will be allowed to walk home after the performances. Please bring your tickets with you on the night – fire regulations dictate we cannot admit entry to anyone without a ticket. We look forward to seeing you at the show! Remember to bring your singing voices along too!!!

Hamilton District Foodbank

At our Christmas Sing-A-Long and Infant Nativities, we will be welcoming any donations to Hamilton District Foodbank to support their Christmas Appeal. In previous years, we have asked families to support Hamilton District Foodbank’s Christmas Advent Calendar Appeal, however this year they are looking for food items or toiletries from the shopping lists which you can access below. The Foodbank really makes a difference to families in our local community all year round, but especially over the festive period. Thank you for your support.

Hamilton District Foodbank – Harvest Appeal

Last year we organised a Harvest collection for Hamilton District Foodbank and were delighted with the amount of food items which families kindly sent into the school. This year we would like to help our local Foodbank again and, if possible,  would greatly appreciate any of the following donations:

  • Diluting juice
  • Milk
  • Tinned tomatoes
  • Tinned fruit
  • Pasta sauce
  • Curry sauce
  • Jam
  • Pot noodles
  • Soap, Shampoo or Shower gel

If you would like to donate any of the above items, please send them into school by Friday 9th October – this would allow us to deliver them to the Foodbank before the October Break.

Many thanks again for your on-going support, we really appreciate it.
