Many thanks to everyone who made it along to our ‘Sharing the Learning’ Event on Thursday – it was fantastic seeing so many families in school and we hope you enjoyed looking at some examples of your child’s learning. We have another ‘Sharing the Learning’ Event scheduled for Tuesday 22nd May – more information will follow nearer the time.

This week is Book Week Scotland 2017 and this year our theme is My Favourite Book. We have asked the children to choose their favourite story and bring the book into school to share with their peers. Children will be using the book to complete a range of learning activities in class. For more information about Book Week Scotland, please click here to read our letter for parents and carers. We have various events on throughout the week, including Book Scavenger Hunts, our Homework Reading Challenge Bookmark, a Book Swap, and more.

Monday

Today marks the start of Book Week Scotland 2017 – children should bring their favourite book to school. Children can bring books in for the Book Swap between Monday-Thursday.
