Last week was a particularly busy week at Udston Primary with lots of hands-on Science activities going on in and around the school. Our pupils thoroughly enjoyed ‘training like astronauts’ and we have lots of photographs which will be on display at Parents’ Night next Wednesday 1st April. A huge well done to those who entered the Science Week website competitions to find Astronaut Charlie and to create an alien. Our House Captains, along with Nancy the janitor, are in the process of choosing some prize winners (which is a really tricky job!) and prizes will be awarded at this week’s assembly. A huge thank you also to our parental volunteers who gave up their time to come and work with some of our classes throughout the week.
We hope you all managed to see the Hamilton Advertiser last week with lots of photographs from Red Nose Day! Photographs from the Funny Face Photo Booth have been ordered and pupils who donated will receive their pictures soon.
