Important information regarding Parent/Carer Visits:

We are looking forward to welcoming parents and carers into school on Thursday 22nd March for our Parent/Carer Visits. As stated in the letter families received back in October, the time slot you will be given for this visit remains the same as it was at the Interim Parent/Carer Visits earlier in the school year. On Tuesday you will receive a slip with the allocated time slot for you to come along and speak to your child’s class teacher. Once again, we will be looking for some Primary Six and Seven volunteers to help us keep to our tight schedule. This proved to be highly effective at our Interim Parent/Carer Visits and the feedback we received from families regarding this was very positive.

With the help of some other P6 and P7 pupils, they also made and sold Friendship Loom Bands a couple of weeks ago, raising £86.60. These funds, combined with the money they raised from their Halloween Colouring Competition, will be used to buy a House Points Display for our Gym Hall. This week, the children will continue to share their Scots poems, songs and stories which they learned for homework. We are looking forward to hearing a selection of these at this week’s assembly.
