Despite it being a four day week it has still been action packed! Our P7 Young Sports Leaders started their training, the NSPCC came in to talk with all pupils, the Drama group finished their auditions, P6&7 Dance Club started, Rooms 1 and 1a had a special visitor and a team from the boys’ football club attended their first festival! WOW!

Well done to everyone who participated in ‘Fun 31 – Udston’s Ultimate Fundraiser’ on Thursday. As well as having a fun-filled day, we raised a massive £971 for school resources.

We were delighted to award our P7 pupils with their leadership ties on Friday at assembly (photo to follow). They are already working very hard, being amazing buddies to our P1s as well as monitoring during wet weather playtimes and lunchtimes. Well done everyone!

Young Workforce Week

During Young Workforce Week we aim to show our pupils that there is a wide range of opportunities available to them, with regards to future careers. They will have visits from, and have the opportunity to engage with people with a wide variety of jobs. We are sure this will be a very valuable and enjoyable week for all.

Sports Day

Pupils should come to school in their sports clothes, as we will be walking to the Jock Stein pitch soon after 9.00am. They also need a bottle of water and a healthy snack. Pupils can wear their House colours if they wish.

Thank you to those who have volunteered to help. We still need more helpers though, so if you are free, let us know!
