Changes to School Dinners!
Just a reminder that from 5th January the following changes will be made to school dinners:
- Primary 1-3 pupils will receive free school meals.
- Primary 4-7 pupils will pay £1.50 (unless entitled to free meals).
- Schools will no longer operate a cashless system. Children will pay daily at the cafeteria, money will no longer be put on cards.
- Please send the correct money in with your child for their lunch to avoid change being lost!

Website Winners!
A huge well done to Kacey (P2/3) and Marybeth (P7) who won our Christmas drawing competition. They both produced brilliant pieces of festive artwork.
Congratulations also to Paige and Taylor (P6/7) who correctly found 9 Rudolph’s hiding on our website!

Last Day of Term!
Just a little reminder that tomorrow is Dress Down Day, children can come to school in suitable casual clothes and bring £1 with them as a donation. As it is the last day of term, children can bring a game or toy with them however no electrical or valuable items should be brought into school.
As you already know, school finishes at 2.30pm tomorrow and we re-open on Monday 5th January 2015. Happy Christmas everyone!
Infant Nativity
Our final performance of C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S Spells Christmas was this morning and what a fabulous performance it was! We hope that everyone who managed along yesterday and today enjoyed it and we are sure you were extremely proud of the children.
Many thanks to all of the children and infant staff for their hard work and to you for not only supporting the show, but also for helping your child to practise their lines and songs! Have a look at our Gallery for photographs from the performances!
Well Done to our Choir!
A huge well done to our amazing Primary 5-7 Choir members who were singing at Sainsbury’s this morning. They raised a fantastic £174.82 – £50 of which will go to Cash For Kids and the rest towards our School Funds. The children were a credit to the school and their families and most definitely spread Christmas Joy to the customers at Sainsbury’s!

Just a reminder that our choir will be singing at Sainsbury’s, Hamilton today from 10.00am – 11.30am! Please come and visit us if you are in the area!
The Week Ahead!
We have another busy week ahead of us at Udston! Please remember that on the day of your child’s Christmas Party, they can be collected for a home lunch at 12.00pm or party clothes can be sent into school with them and they can get changed after lunch in school.
