The Week Ahead – 22nd August 2016

We have had an extremely exciting start to our week at Udston Primary School. Today marked the official opening of our brand new Library and we were delighted to welcome former pupil Jackie Bird to our school to cut the red ribbon. All children, staff and parental librarians attended the special opening and took part in a brilliant silent ‘Space Walk’ through the Library. We are now really looking forward to using our Library and exploring the wide variety of books it has to offer. We had a photographer in attendance today, as you can see from our new website header, and will upload the rest of the photographs once we receive them.

A Library permission letter will shortly be sent home for all children and these should be completed and returned by the end of this week please – many thanks! We are continuing to celebrate our special opening over the next three days with ZooEd Sensory Storytelling Workshops for each class being held in the Library.

Many thanks to all families who made it along to our drop-in session this afternoon. We hope you enjoyed seeing your child’s classroom, meeting their teacher and found the School Information Packs helpful.
